Strawberry Reservoir is one of Utah's largest reservoirs, with a total surface area of over 17,000 acres. Located in Strawberry Valley, the reservoir is about 20 miles from Heber, Utah, and just a short drive from Strawberry Adventures RV.

Besides being one of Utah's largest reservoirs, Strawberry Reservoir is also one of Utah's most popular fishing destinations. Here, you can consistently find rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and kokanee salmon. Rainbows, in particular, grow extremely fast in the reservoir, making for great sport fishing.

Generally, you'll have better luck fishing by boat, rather than from the shore, especially in the summer months. If you prefer fishing from a bank, spring and fall, when the water is cooler, are your best bets. As for gear, locals tend to go with flies, jigs, lures, and bait.

And, don't forget ice fishing during winter months (typically, December through February). The area does get a lot of snowfall, so access is by snowmobile during much of the winter.

Strawberry Reservoir is also an excellent boating destination. The reservoir has four marinas, with paved boat ramps: Aspen, Soldier Creek Marina, Strawberry Bay Marina, and Renegade. The marinas also have fuel. While water skiing and wakeboarding are also common on the reservoir, the water is cool, so keep that in mind when planning your activities.
